Job summary

Vertiv in Mexico is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate schedules, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead the production team to deliver high-quality products on time.

You will collaborate with sales, procurement, and engineering, implement lean practices, and ensure safety and KPI reporting. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on continuous improvement in a manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably HVAC or related industry.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, team building, conflict resolution and decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality control and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Master's degree or additional certifications in production management or quality control.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
• Manage production resources such as materials, equipment, and personnel to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Communicate production updates, performance metrics, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams during new product introductions or enhancements.
• Ensure smooth transition from prototype to production and address manufacturing challenges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and implement lean principles.
• Provide leadership and guidance to production teams including supervisors and line workers.
• Foster teamwork, accountability and continuousLearning to drive performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
