Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate schedules, lead manufacturing teams, and optimize processes for efficiency and quality. Your role includes resource planning, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, procurement, and engineering.

Developing production plans, overseeing safety, and driving continuous improvement will be core to delivering high-quality products on time. A master’s degree and ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within HVAC or related industry.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role leading teams and overseeing production processes.
• Strong leadership and management abilities for supervising production teams and driving performance.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions for production challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional interaction and reporting to senior management.
• Commitment to quality control and assurance, ensuring products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software and ERP systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Master's degree or additional certifications in production management or quality control.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for schedule coordination and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and engineering to align with business objectives.
• Manage production resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Provide leadership to production teams and monitor performance through KPIs.
• Communicate updates and challenges to senior management with regular KPI reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D during new products or enhancements introductions.
• Oversee smooth prototype-to-production transitions and address design/manufacturing issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings; implement lean initiatives.
