ABB in San Luis Potosí, México, seeks a Production Leader for LV MNS lines to oversee daily production, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain quality and budget adherence. You will lead 400+ hourly operators, build high-performing teams, and drive productivity via lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 8+ years in production leadership, and strong English proficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in production management or manufacturing leadership.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies (Black Belt preferred).
• Experience managing large hourly workforces (400+ operators).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily production across LV MNS lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and budget adherence.
• Directly leading 400+ hourly operators to build high-performing teams.
• Drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Prepare and manage the annual production budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including subcontractors and customers.
• Support Sales during customer visits to demonstrate manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure full HSE compliance and promote a zero-incident culture across all shifts.

Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division focused on LV Products in San Luis Potosí, México.You will be mainly accountable for:Overseeing daily production across LV MNS lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and budget adherence.Directly leading 400+ hourly operators; builds high-performing, skilled, and engaged teams.Driving measurable productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies.Preparing and managing annual production budget; identifies and acts on cost reduction opportunities.Managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external partners including subcontractors and customers.Supporting Sales during customer visits to demonstrate manufacturing capabilities.Ensuring full HSE compliance and promotes a zero-incident culture across all shifts.Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.Minimum 8+ years in production management, manufacturing operations, or similar leadership roles.Proven track record of delivering measurable productivity improvements (cost reduction, cycle time, yield enhancement) in high-volume manufacturing environments.Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.
