Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead Agile product development, manage the team backlog, prioritize needs, and serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the delivery teams.

You will collaborate with the Business Owners, Product Manager and other Product Owners to align on goals, participate in PI planning and system demos, and ensure user stories are clearly written and accepted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• SAFe Product Owner Certification (obtained within 180 days of hire) required.
• One year experience in an Agile environment or 2+ years of experience in a project environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead in Agile product development and manage the team backlog.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business value.
• Serve as customer proxy and liaison with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Product Manager and Product Owner teams.
• Participate in PI planning and system demos.
• Ensure stories meet acceptance criteria and are done.
