Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven backlog management, user story creation, sprint planning, and prioritization.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, business stakeholders).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery metrics.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog with priorities aligned to business value, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.
• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and sprint objectives.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done.
• Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog to maximize business value.
• Partner closely with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA, and UX throughout the product lifecycle.
• Review completed work and ensure acceptance criteria are met; drive Agile practice adoption.
• Monitor product performance and delivery metrics; incorporate stakeholder feedback for improvements.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive product strategy, backlog prioritization, and Agile delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-value products aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

This role requires strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder engagement, backlog management, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business value, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and prioritization.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.

Agile Delivery

• Partner closely with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA, and UX teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Review completed work and accept deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Drive the adoption of Agile and Scrum best practices.

Product Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure delivered solutions support defined business goals and KPIs.
• Monitor product performance and delivery metrics.
• Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into future enhancements.
• Balance business requirements with technical debt, architecture considerations, and non-functional requirements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management tools.
• Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent).
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
