Formación

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Strong experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Backlog management, user story creation, sprint planning, and prioritization.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, Business).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery metrics.
• Professional English proficiency.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive product strategy, backlog prioritization, and Agile delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-value products aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

This role requires strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder engagement, backlog management, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven expertise in backlog management, user story creation, sprint planning, and prioritization.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, and Business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery metrics.
• Professional English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business value, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.
• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and sprint objectives.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done.
• Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog to maximize business value.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and prioritization.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.

Agile Delivery

• Partner closely with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA, and UX teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Review completed work and accept deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Drive the adoption of Agile and Scrum best practices.

Product Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure delivered solutions support defined business goals and KPIs.
• Monitor product performance and delivery metrics.
• Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into future enhancements.
• Balance business requirements with technical debt, architecture considerations, and non-functional requirements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management tools.
• Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent).
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
