Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) seeks a Product Engineer to drive development, validation, release, and continuous improvement of wire harness products. You will support quotations, BOMs, manufacturing, and customer requirements across the product lifecycle.

The role requires ECN/ECR discipline, BOM control, harness fabrication knowledge, and proficiency in Advanced Excel and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP). Strong reading of schematics and harness drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor degree in Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• - 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• - Proficiency with ISO/AS standards and product validation processes.
• - Experience with ERP systems and CAD tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain BOMs, circuit lists, drawings, and work instructions.
• Generate quotations and product cost estimates.
• Verify harness board dimensions and product requirements.
• Review customer specifications and supplier documentation.
• Support production, quality, and testing activities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues.
• Coordinate engineering changes and product releases.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
