Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking a Wire Harness Design Engineer to bridge customers with engineering and sales, transforming needs into manufacturable harness solutions for automotive and commercial vehicle programs.

The role involves supplier and internal collaboration, design reviews, and ensuring programs launch successfully. Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical systems background, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting

Formación

Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical or related technical discipline.
3+ years of engineering experience in application or design engineering.
Experience in wire harness design and automotive/commercial vehicle environments.
Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, APQP processes.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, CAD models and industry standards.

Responsabilidades

Translate customer requirements into design documents, drawings and specs for wiring harness assemblies.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality teams to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.
Support product development cycles including design validation, prototypes, ECOs, and launches.
Engage with customers to clarify requirements, review specs, and support pre-award activities.
