Job summary
Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) seeks a Product Engineer to drive development, validation, release, and continuous improvement of wire harness products across the lifecycle. You will support quotations, BOMs, ECN/ECR processes, manufacturing floor support, and customer requirements for successful product launches.
Responsibilities include engineering changes coordination, drawing interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and customers to ensure quality and cost
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
- Advanced English technical skills in harness manufacturing and drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, IATF 16949, AS9100D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain BOMs, circuit lists, drawings, and work instructions.
- Generate quotations and product cost estimates.
- Verify harness board dimensions and product requirements.
- Review customer specifications and supplier documentation.
- Support production, quality, and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues.
- Coordinate engineering changes and product releases.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
