Flex is seeking a Product Engineer located in Juarez Sur to support extraordinary teams that build great products. Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, you will handle product transfer, set up new products, and work with design and production teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Typical duties include debugging, verification, and interacting with customers and internal teams on engineering changes and new model development, with a focus on quality and production yield.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Intermediate English.
• Electronics experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Handle product transfer and new product set up on the production line.
• Assess product engineering issues that arise on production line and provide solutions.
• Suggest process improvements to improve quality and yield.
• Maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
• Perform failure analysis and resolve product-related issues.
• Interact with customers and internal teams on engineering changes and new model development.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Juarez Sur. Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager the Product Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scopes that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Experience in Electronics (desirable).

Experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Intermediate English.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree Apply company approved processes.
• Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
