Flex invites a Process Engineer to join our Guadalajara North team. You will report to the Process Engineer Manager and drive equipment selection, installation, and process improvements for manufacturing lines.

You will lead cost reduction initiatives, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safe, efficient production practices. English proficiency is required for global coordination.

Formación

• Advanced English required.
• Experience leading teams in production settings.
• Ability to drive process improvements and cost reductions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and maintenance.
• Establish robust, repeatable processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead cost improvement and reduction programs.
• Assist in training production personnel during tech transfers.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in repair procedures
