Flex is hiring a Process Engineer for its Guadalajara North site to support production teams building great products. You will oversee capital equipment projects, establish repeatable processes, and troubleshoot process issues to improve cycle time and yield.

Ownership of equipment maintenance, training development, and cost-improvement initiatives will be central, with collaboration across engineering and production personnel. Fluent English and a bachelor’s degree are required.

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• Advanced English required.
• Experience in process engineering and teams.
• Ability to develop training and transfer technologies to production staff.
• Maintenance and repair support for equipment.
• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara North. Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Process Engineer's role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in repair procedures.
