Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner focused on designing, building, and delivering innovative products. We are seeking a Product Engineer located in Juarez Sur to support teams that build great products and contribute to growth.

You will work with R&D, engineering, QA, manufacturing, and supply chain to address product issues, manage changes, and assist in new model development while communicating across departments and with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Intermediate English proficiency required.
• Follows company approved processes.
• Provides training to debug technicians and supports design team.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Juarez Sur.

Reporting to the Product Engineer the Product Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scopes that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development.
• Experience with manages and tracks modifications to product designs, parts, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing processes. They act as a bridge between research and development (R&D), engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Analyzing a finished product, device, system, or software piece to understand its design, construction, and internal mechanics without access to original blueprints.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Intermediate English.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree
• Apply company approved processes.
• Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
