Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Juarez South is seeking a Process Engineer to support production and improve processes. You will interface with cross-functional teams to implement capital equipment and drive NPIs while ensuring robust, repeatable operations.

Required is advanced English and a Bachelor’s degree, with Six Sigma experience and a track record of cost improvements and teamwork during tech transfers and audits. This is a full-time role in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Six Sigma (green/black belt) experience preferred.
• Experience with production equipment and NPIs.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and maintenance.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and drive improvements.
• Lead cost improvement initiatives and training during tech transfers.
• Support audits and customer service countermeasures.

Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Juarez South. Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Desirable experience in repair process.
• Experience in NPI process.

• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
