Job summary

Flex is seeking a Product Engineer in Juarez Sur to support transfer and new product setups, assess engineering issues on the production line, and collaborate with design and customer teams to resolve product-related challenges.

You will drive process improvements, maximize debugging and verification efficiency, and contribute to cost-reduction efforts in materials, inventory, and scrap, while mentoring debug technicians and ensuring high quality across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• English proficiency: intermediate level.
• Experience in electronics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues on the production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scopes that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Experience in Electronics (desirable).
• Intermediate English. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree Apply company approved processes.
