Flex is seeking a Product Engineer for Juarez Sur to support product transfers, setup new products, and assist production by addressing engineering issues on the line.

Product Engineer – Juarez Sur

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Product Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scopes that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Experience in Electronics (desirable).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Intermediate English.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree
• Apply company approved processes.
• Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
