Sensata Technologies in Mexico's Tijuana area is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support product development platforms for aerospace products. The role works within the AS9100 quality system, with a focus on assembly, calibration and final test acceptance for high-reliability electro-mechanical devices.

You will set up test equipment, perform electrical and mechanical tests, analyze results, and document discrepancies to help engineering advance new product development and reliability

Formación

• Experience in an Electro-mechanical or Electronics Manufacturing setting a must.
• Work within the AS9100 Quality System.
• Detail oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform product assembly from work instructions and Blueprints.
• Perform complex Electrical and Mechanical tests of Transducers in a product development environment, using automated and manual test stations to ensure units perform to required specifications.
• Analyze test results and coordinate appropriate adjustments.
• Review all related documents.
• Report all documentations discrepancy (Prints, Routers, Standard Time) to Project Engineer.
• Understand processes and do a complete visual analysis of finish product to meet specification.
• Troubleshoot rejected units to determine cause and corrective action, provide a written rejection report.
• May conduct complex environmental and mechanical test support to assist Engineering with new product development, reliability and performance improvements.

Descripción del empleo

The qualified candidate will be required to work in a detail oriented environment in support of Product Development Platforms for Aerospace Products. This work is conducted within the AS9100 Quality System. Experience in an Electro-mechanical or Electronics Manufacturing setting a must. Daily responsibilities will include setting up test equipment following specific work instructions, using detailed Technical Drawings and Manufacturing Instructions to perform Assembly, Calibration and Final Test Acceptance for High Reliability Electro-Mechanical Devices.
