QST Solutions in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Process Engineer to design, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive sensor fabrication. You will analyze workflow, equipment performance, and material flow to improve efficiency and yield.

You will lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis, support new product launches, and ensure compliance with quality standards. This role requires strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of process engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive, electronics, textiles, or sensor manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean and continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D and root cause analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for sensor fabrication.
• Analyze workflow, equipment performance, labor utilization, and material flow to improve efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Support new product launches, process validations, and production scale-up activities.
• Create and maintain process documentation including SOPs, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor production KPIs such as yield, scrap, downtime, and cycle time.
• Conduct troubleshooting and corrective actions for process deviations and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
