Job summary

QST Solutions/Wabash Technologies in Mexicali is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to lead quality activities with customers and cross-functional teams. You will ensure customer satisfaction, manage certifications, and strengthen the Quality Management System across programs.

The role requires 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, strong knowledge of quality systems, and hands-on experience with APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, and Control Plans. Automotive familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a Customer Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and customer requirements.
• Experience with direct customer communication; GM preferred.
• Proficient in Core Tools: APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, and Control Plans.
• IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement to reduce defects and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities focused on customer satisfaction and stakeholder collaboration.
• Interact with customers and internal/external teams to support quality initiatives.
• Lead projects for obtaining/maintaining customer certifications and strengthen QMS.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce complaints, scrap, and rework.
