QST Solutions/Wabash Technologies in Mexicali, Mexico, is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, document, and optimize sensor fabric manufacturing processes. You will analyze workflows, equipment performance, and material flow to boost efficiency and yield.

You will lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, perform root-cause analysis, and support new product launches, validations, and scale-up activities while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
• 3+ years of process engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive, electronics, textiles, or sensor manufacturing preferred.
• Strong Lean and continuous improvement knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for sensor fabric production.
• Analyze workflow, equipment performance, labor utilization, and material flow.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Support new product launches, process validations, and production scale-up activities.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve manufacturing and product issues.
• Monitor production KPIs, including yield, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and OEE.
• Conduct troubleshooting and corrective actions for process deviations and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
