Job summary

Ford México seeks a Process Coach (PCE) for Final Assembly to lead daily shift operations and the hourly line team. You will ensure safe startup/shutdown, enforce standardized work, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Tooling, and other functions to resolve line issues using 6-Sigma and DMAIC.

You will coach Team Leaders, drive Kaizen events, monitor Safety/Quality/Cost KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related).
• Experience in Production/Manufacturing operations (Assembly) and supervising hourly personnel.
• Proficient in English; strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe shift startup/shutdown and supervise hourly personnel, managing attendance and time tracking.
• Enforce standardized work, 5S, and daily PJO and monitor KPIs for safety, quality and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement using 6-Sigma, DMAIC and Kaizen with cross-functional teams.
• Coach Team Leaders, manage line constraints and coordinate with maintenance, quality and tooling teams.
