Job summary

Ford Mexico Final Assembly seeks a Process Coach (PCE) to lead daily shift operations and the hourly line team. You will start up safely, ensure standardized work, and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Tooling, Dimensional, and other teams to reduce scrap and address top-line constraints using 6-Sigma and DMAIC.

You will coach Team Leaders, drive continuous improvement, lead Kaizen events, and maintain 5S and PJO across the line with emphasis on Safety, Quality, and Cost metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Prior experience in Production / Manufacturing operations (Assembly) and supervising hourly personnel.
• Languages: English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe shift startup and shutdown; supervise hourly personnel and manage time/attendance in PeopleSoft.
• Enforce standardized work, 5S, and daily Planned Job Observations (PJO).
• Drive shop-floor problem solving using 6-Sigma, Global 8D, and DMAIC to reduce scrap and top-line constraints.
• Track KPIs across Safety, Quality (FTT), Flow (FIS), and Cost; lead monthly Kaizen events with Team Leaders.
• Build team versatility and train Team Leaders and technicians on new processes, rebalances, and platforms.
