Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico is seeking a Principal Migration Automation Engineer to roll out and expand the Cloud Migration Factory on AWS for a major enterprise-scale migration into AWS. You will own automation across the full migration journey, from portfolio evaluation to rehost execution, with AWS-native tooling.

You will develop custom automation, drive end-to-end migration patterns, review portfolios via MPA, and produce SOPs for repeatable waves.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years in senior/lead/manager roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
• Strong automation scripting background.

Responsibilities

• Roll out and configure Cloud Migration Factory on AWS and automation packages.
• Create custom automation solutions and modify scripts for server discovery, prerequisite verification, agent deployment, and cutover.
• Drive end-to-end automation of repeatable migration patterns to reduce manual workload.
• Review portfolio and generate wave sequencing, mappings, and metadata for factory use.

Our team is seeking a Principal Migration Automation Engineer to roll out and expand upon the Cloud Migration Factory hyper-automation framework in support of a major enterprise-scale migration into AWS. This position carries full responsibility for automation spanning the entire migration journey, starting with portfolio evaluation and wave sequencing and continuing through rehost execution via AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), while also producing the SOPs needed to keep the factory operating consistently at volume.
