Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the enterprise AWS landing zone, reference architectures, and a self-service platform to enable secure, cost-aware infrastructure.

You will align security, networking, FinOps, and application teams, drive migration sequencing, and champion a resilient multi-region strategy with guardrails and policy-as-code.

Qualifications

• Experience designing multi-account AWS landing zones with Organizations and Control Tower.
• Strong networking skills including VPC segmentation and hybrid connectivity.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with IAM Identity Center, permission sets, federation, and ABAC.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS Organizations/Control Tower landing zone architecture and governance.
• Maintain SCPs, Config rules, and conformance packs; manage break-glass access.
• Develop and publish reference architectures and Well-Architected reviews.
• Architect VPC design, Transit Gateway/Cloud WAN, and NGFW with Gateway Load Balancer.

We're seeking a Cloud Architect to join the CCoE and take the reins on the enterprise AWS landing zone, reference architectures, and self-service platform that power secure, compliant, cost-conscious infrastructure.
