Job summary

International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in delivering the preschool curriculum and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for young learners. You will help with lesson activities, supervision during meals and outdoor time, and the development of social and emotional skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in preschool education (or equivalent) and preferred TKT certification, with prior experience in early childhood settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in preschool education or equivalent is required.
• TKT Training Course is required/preferred.
• Prior experience working with young children in education or care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, activities, and games aligned with the preschool curriculum.
• Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Assist with behavior management and help develop social and emotional skills.
• Prepare and organize learning materials, resources, and displays to support hands-on learning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment and assist with sanitizing toys and surfaces.
• Provide individualized support to children who need extra help or emotional support.
• Observe children’s development and communicate concerns or progress to the lead teacher.
• Assist with daily routines and transitions to foster independence.
• Model respectful, inclusive behavior and collaborate with staff to ensure consistent teaching practices.
