Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical pre-sales/sales engineering/post-sales.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in CS, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Understanding of the internet: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), APIs, etc.
• Interest or experience with DevOps, Media, or Internet Security.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology.
• Manage the technical proposal process and ensure accurate information addressing customer needs.
• Track account activity for business analysis and design technical solutions.
• Lead sales activities like Technical Demos, CARs, and POCs.
• Maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on business needs.
