Job summary

Kaspersky Lab in Mexico City is seeking a Presales Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support, identify customer requirements, and design commercially viable solutions from across KL's product portfolio.

You will act as a Technology Strategy Trusted Advisor, drive strategic technology plans with customers, assist in product deployments, and educate channel partners and sales teams. This role requires strong security knowledge and the ability to communicate with executives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cyber security presales management or 5+ years in cyber security technical positions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• IT/security certifications preferred.
• Deep knowledge of security technologies (EP, EDR, Anti-APT, Threat Intel).
• Experience interfacing with end users, executives, and managers.
• Knowledge of competitor solutions/portfolio.
• Experience in large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer’s Technology Strategy Trusted Advisor.
• Ensure Selling Strategy aligns to the Technology Strategy and meets customer needs.
• Establish and drive the Strategic Technology Plan by integrating customer priorities with KL capabilities.
• Accelerate transition to new products with ready infrastructure and blockers removed.
• Drive successful product deployment and adoption.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Present KL brand and products at conferences and events.
• Educate channel partners on KL solutions.
• Coach channel partners’ technical teams to enhance product knowledge.
• Collaborate with territory channel team to identify gaps in technical education.
