Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Intern to support the Health, Safety, and Environment department in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace. The position is a part-time trainee fixed-term contract, offering exposure to HSE policies, risk assessments, investigations, and training activities in a leading automotive supplier.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
• Fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HSE-related role is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support the HSE team in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Participate in safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Help maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documents.
• Support the organization and delivery of HSE training sessions for employees.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of HSE communication materials.
• Assist in waste management and environmental compliance activities.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager.

Job Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HSE-related role is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
