Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a Maintenance Trainee to develop foundational skills in industrial maintenance at our Querétaro facility. The role focuses on upkeep of production machinery, inspections, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.

You will learn to interpret manuals and schematics, adhere to safety and environmental policies, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance processes while working in a collaborative team environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physically able to lift/move equipment and work in industrial environments.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine preventative maintenance on production machinery, including inspections and lubrication.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions under supervision, applying procedures.
• Support repair and replacement of faulty components, following safety protocols and specs.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.

Job Summary The Trainee Maintenance position at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is an entry-level role designed to develop foundational skills in industrial maintenance, supporting the upkeep and optimal functioning of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine preventative maintenance tasks on production machinery, including inspections, lubrication, and basic adjustments.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions under supervision, applying established procedures.
• Support the repair and replacement of faulty components, adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and repair times.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations, procedures, and environmental policies.
• Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential areas for efficiency gains in maintenance processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications
