Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Intern to support the Health, Safety, and Environment department in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

The role includes implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, supporting audits, maintaining records, and assisting in training sessions. Spanish fluency is required; English is a plus. This part-time trainee position offers exposure to Valeo's global safety culture.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Industrial, Environmental, Chemical, or related).
• Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Help maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documents.
• Support the organization and delivery of HSE training sessions for employees.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of HSE communication materials.
• Assist in waste management and environmental compliance activities.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager.

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Environmental, Chemical, or related field), Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of basic HSE principles and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HSE-related role is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
