SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer focused on powertrain components to lead lifecycle management from concept to production. You will serve as the technical authority for engine components, balancing design rigor with cross-functional project management.

Responsibilities include BOM ownership, ECN execution, packaging optimization, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and cost targets throughout prototype and production launches.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automotive/mechatronics/aerospace engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Design Release Engineer in the automotive sector.
• Strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis skills.
• Experience with casting, machining and injection molding processes.

Responsabilidades

• Own BOM and manage ECNs using PLM systems (Teamcenter/Windchill or equivalent).
• Collaborate with CAD designers to optimize packaging and conduct DMU reviews in NX/CATIA.
• Interface with Tier 1 suppliers; oversee APQP and PPAP milestones.
• Define DVP&R requirements and analyze test data and root-cause analysis (8D, Fishbone).
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Plant Engineering for prototype builds and launches.
