SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer (DRE) to own engine subsystems, mounts, and structural powertrain components for a mid‑engine platform. You will lead packaging, DFMEA, DVP&R, and supplier collaboration across the full development cycle.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive engineering, proficiency with CATIA V5, NX, or SolidWorks, and solid GD&T skills. English and Spanish fluency is required; PLM/BOM, APQP, and PPAP exposure is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years automotive product engineering experience as a Design Release Engineer or Product Engineer.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and GD&T per ASME Y14.5; strong packaging skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own design release and lifecycle management of engine subsystems, mounts, and structural brackets.
• Interface with Tier‑1 suppliers and lead technical reviews and timelines.
• Package components in a dense mid‑engine bay and negotiate trade‑offs.
• Define and execute DVP&R; oversee durability, fatigue, and NVH testing.
• Maintain DFMEA and ensure manufacturing controls tie to key characteristics.
• Drive cost and weight optimization without compromising rigidity or acoustics.
