Cooper Standard Automotive in Torreón, Mexico seeks a Plant Process Engineer to lead manufacturing methods, equipment selection, and process optimization for new programs. You will partner with engineering, program management and production teams to meet targets for capacity, cycle time, scrap, and efficiency.

You will develop layouts, PFMEA, control plans, and assembly instructions, applying Lean methods to reduce waste and improve flow across the plant.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Lean, and GD&T concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develops manufacturing methods, equipment, and processes for programs.
• Defines equipment utilization, floor space requirements, process flow, and layout for maximum efficiency.
• Applies Lean principles to new product launches and cost reduction.
• Creates and maintains manufacturing and process documentation for launches.
