Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Production Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight in our manufacturing plant.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to meet objectives, improve processes, and ensure efficient use of resources and equipment installations. The ideal candidate has a BS degree, at least five years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, and is fully bilingual.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably with a technical emphasis.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Fully bilingual.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Proven leadership, decision making, planning, scheduling, and team facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production operations to ensure efficient workflow, effective resource utilization, and achievement of production objectives.
• Support the hiring and development of production personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of new equipment and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor production performance through reports, observations, meetings, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure coordination and operational effectiveness.
