Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent technical degree.
• MBA or equivalent business degree.
• Experience leading manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Track record of continuous improvement and change initiatives.
• Experience with global manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in staff or project roles.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall plant operations and staff functions to meet cost, quality, service, and growth goals.
• Develop and implement operating plans to meet key performance objectives.
• Ensure success of manufacturing and engineering programs considering cost, resources, and risk.
• Grow talent and capability of plant staff and the organization.
• Build relationships with leadership, customers, and suppliers.
• Participate in developing strategies supporting manufacturing and commercial objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement and Corning values.
• Champion innovation for new product and process development.
• Demonstrate corporate citizenship in communities where we operate.
• Prepare strategies for sustainability of plant operations.
