Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent technical degree.
• M.B.A. or equivalent business degree.
• Progressive responsibilities in manufacturing and engineering roles.
• Experience leading departments or organizations in continual improvement.
• Experience with global manufacturing and working across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operating plans that meet key performance objectives.
• Assure the success of manufacturing and engineering programs while considering cost, resources, and technical risk.
• Assure growth in talent and capability of the plant staff and total organization.
• Build effective relationships within the business, corporate leadership, and staff groups, and with key customers and suppliers where required.
• Actively participate with division and business staffs in development of strategies supporting manufacturing and commercial objectives.
• Build a sustainable culture characteristic of Corning Values and continuous improvement in support of the business.
• Champion and sponsor the innovation process for new product and process development.
• Demonstrate positive corporate citizenship in the communities in which we operate.
• Be forward thinking in the development of strategies and plans that insure the sustainability of plant operations.
• Champion and sponsor key corporate and division initiatives.
