Core Molding Technologies seeks a Plant Director to lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

The role holds P&L ownership and champions lean manufacturing, cost control, and continuous improvement to deliver world-class performance. Extensive leadership and engineering expertise are required to drive results and a strong safety culture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years as a Plant Manager or Plant Director in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, process controls, and quality systems, including IATF 16949 / TS 16949
• Experience with root cause analysis, Six Sigma, 8D, and structured problem-solving tools
• Demonstrated engineering and manufacturing process knowledge
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing plant-level P&L
• Proven track record of improving safety performance and operational results
• Experience working with OEM customers and customer-facing programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Solid understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements

Responsabilidades

• Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety
• Own plant P&L performance, driving profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Establish and execute strategies to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Lead and develop the plant leadership team; establish performance goals and ensure accountability for results
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Ensure strong process discipline and adherence to quality and operational standards
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production and business objectives
• Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
• Partner with customers, suppliers, and corporate leadership to support business growth and new program launches

Core Molding Technologies is seeking aPlant Director to lead all aspects of plant operations, driving performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

This role has full accountability for plant performance, includingP&L ownership, operational execution, and team leadership. The Plant Director partners with site and corporate leadership to deliver results, build a strong culture, and establish a high-performing, world-class manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety
• Ownplant P&L performance, driving profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Establish and execute strategies to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Lead and develop the plant leadership team; establish performance goals and ensure accountability for results
• DriveLean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience as a Plant Manager or Plant Director in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Extended hours and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
