Confidential Careers is seeking a Technical Maintenance Manager to direct the plant's maintenance strategy, ensuring availability, reliability and efficiency of production equipment and infrastructure, including plastic injection molding, paint booths, automation, and plant services.

The candidate will lead maintenance operations, manage budgets and contracts, and drive continuous improvement while complying with safety, quality, and automotive standards.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years leading maintenance in automotive industry.
• Experience with painting systems, automation, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance operations in Injection Molding, Painting, Facilities, and Auxiliary Equipment areas.
• Ensure availability of plastic injection molding machines, robots, conveyors, paint booths, curing ovens, and ventilation systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability.
• Manage budgets, critical spare parts, MRO materials, and contracts with specialized suppliers.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime, optimize costs, and increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety, environmental, and automotive quality standards.

A leading company in the automotive sector specializing in the manufacture of plastic components is seeking a Technical Maintenance Manager responsible for directing the plant’s comprehensive maintenance strategy, ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of production equipment and infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for the plastic injection molding, paint booths and lines, auxiliary equipment, automation, and plant services areas, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations in the Injection Molding, Painting, Facilities, and Auxiliary Equipment areas.
• Ensure the availability of plastic injection molding machines, robots, conveyors, paint booths, curing ovens, and industrial ventilation systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability.
• Manage budgets, critical spare parts, MRO materials, and contracts with specialized suppliers.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime, optimizing costs, and increasing productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety, environmental, and automotive quality standards.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.

More than 5 years of experience leading maintenance departments within the automotive industry.

Verifiable experience in:

• Automotive painting systems (paint booths, ovens, extraction and ventilation systems).
• Industrial automation and robotics.
• Management of multidisciplinary teams.
• Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance management.

Technical knowledge

• Plastic injection molding machines and peripheral equipment.
• Liquid paint booths or automatic painting systems.
• Curing ovens and air handling systems.
• Allen Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent PLCs.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• TPM and Lean Manufacturing.
• IATF 16949.
• SAP PM, E-maint, or similar maintenance management systems.
