Koch in Mexico’s Baja California seeks a materials planner to analyze raw material lists and coordinate with procurement to maintain smooth production flow.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English fluency, and experience with inventory control and MRP II systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stock levels and supplier performance.

Formación

  • 3 to 5 years in inventory control systems and MRP II systems.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

  • Analyzes lists of raw materials, purchased parts and equipment needed in the manufacture of industrial or consumer products.
  • Requires analytical skills to develop appropriate procedures and can use the computer at the programming level.
  • Schedules deliveries based on production forecasts, market conditions, material substitutions, production line as well as storage and handling capacities.
  • Reviews material lists for compliance to the company’s standard practices regarding parts and materials used.
  • Prepares or authorizes timely requisitions to the purchasing department for raw materials and parts.
  • Expedites purchases that are delayed or in response to changes in the production plan.
  • Maintains the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the organization.

Your Job

Analyzes Lists of Raw Materials, purchased parts and equipment needed in the manufacture of industrial or consumer products.

What You Will Do
  • Analyzes Lists of Raw Materials, purchased parts and equipment needed in the manufacture of industrial or consumer products.
  • Requires analytical skills to develop appropriate procedures and can use the computer at the programming level.
  • Schedules deliveries based on Production Forecasts, Market Conditions, Material Substitutions, Production Line as well as Storage and Handling Capacities.
  • Reviews material lists for Compliance to the Company’s Standard Practices regarding parts and materials used.
  • Prepares or authorizes timely requisitions to the purchasing department for Raw Materials and Parts.
  • Expedites Purchases that are delayed or in Response to Changes in the Production Plan.
  • Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Organization.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • English Level 80-90% Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes).
  • Professional Degree (Industrial Engineering, Administration, etc) or a Certificate Program in Materials Management.
  • 3 to 5 Years in Inventory Control Systems and MRP II Systems.
  • Excellent use of Office (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Teamwork, Excellent customer service, Management and Conflict Resolution.
  • Knowledge of Glovia or/ and Intelex system.
  • and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English.
