Koch is seeking a Planning Leader in Mexico to develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), aligning demand with capacity and materials. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Materials, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery while maintaining inventory health.

You will monitor forecasts, support S&OP processes, and drive improvements in production planning in a regulated electronics, medical device, aerospace, and defense context.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience on Maquiladoras in Production/Material/Demand Planning.
• 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong Office skills: Word, Excel, Power BI, etc.
• Fluency in English (80–90%).

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Balance customer demand with available manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate scheduling considering capacity, material availability & priorities.
• Monitor and adjust production plans based on demand & constraints.
• Ensure schedules support delivery commitments and business goals.
• Analyze forecasts and demand requirements.
• Participate in S&OP process.
• Identify demand changes and mitigation plans.
• Communicate schedule changes with internal/external customers.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Materials & Warehouse for material availability.
• Monitor critical components and supply chain risks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels; minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives without hurting commitments.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits for customers, certification, and regulatory needs.

Your Job

The Planning Leader is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by aligning customer demand, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and operational resources. This role ensures on-time customer deliveries, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the electronics, medical device, aerospace, and defense industries.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Balance customer demand with available manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate production scheduling activities considering capacity, material availability, and business priorities.
• Monitor and adjust production plans based on demand fluctuations and operational constraints.
• Ensure production schedules support customer delivery commitments and business objectives.
• Analyze customer forecasts and demand requirements.
• Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Identify significant demand changes and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers regarding schedule changes and requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Materials, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor critical components and supply chain risks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives without negatively impacting customer commitments.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support customer, certification, and regulatory audits.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics or Related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience on Maquiladoras in areas as Production Planning, Material Planning, Demand Planning, etc.
• 2 to 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent use of Office (Word, Excel, Power BI etc).
• Teamwork, Excellent customer service, Management and Conflict Resolution.
• Knowledge of Glovia or/ and Intelex system.
• Fluency in English (80%-90%)
