A global IT solutions partner is seeking a Performance Tester to conduct testing and analysis of applications. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of performance testing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic IT environment focused on performance engineering.

• Prepare test plan documents comprising scope, objective, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks and mitigation.

• Monitor application during test execution using tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Newrelic, Splunk, etc.Identify performance issues, log defects identified during test execution and participate in defect triage calls.

• Analyze and prepare preliminary Performance test and summary reports comprising response time metrics, throughout, errors and other server side metrics.

• Conduct performance testing and analysis of applications using Jmeter and other relevant tools.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify performance issues and recommend improvements.

• Perform production workload analysis to understand and replicate real-world usage patterns.

• Design and execute tests that simulate various user loads, response times, and workloads.

• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance enhancements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in production environments.

• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in performance testing with 8-10 years of overall testing experience.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad.

• Strong analytical skills

• Good communication, articulation and presentation skills
