Job summary

Neeyamo in Puebla, Mexico is seeking a Payroll Specialist with 2–5 years of LATAM payroll experience. You will prepare and supervise payrolls, handle tax calculations (IVA, ISR, IEPS, IETU, ISN), and manage supplier and vendor payments while ensuring compliance with IMSS and SAT requirements.

Fluent in English and Spanish at an intermediate level is required. This role involves working from the Puebla office and coordinating with external payroll vendors to deliver accurate payroll processing

Qualifications

• Experience with Mexico or LATAM payroll required.
• 2-5 years of payroll experience including accounting generation.
• Knowledge of taxes, policies and SUA usage.
• Experience with IMSS and payroll compliance.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting.
• Payroll technology/domain expertise.
• English and Spanish at least intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, calculation and supervision of payrolls.

• Bank reconciliations, account depurations, financial statements, etc.

• Attention and customer service in order to provide a personalized service.
• Annual federal and deferred tax returns
• Recorded risk reports IMSS, SAT.
• Indispensable advanced/intermediate English.
• Report to payroll manager on payroll issues and changes.
• Manages external Payroll vendors.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience working with payroll, generation of accounting
• policies, tax calculation and knowledge, working with SUA, invitations of SAT and
• IMSS, etc.
• Experience in processing payrolls 200-300 HC.
• Experience working with labor and financial entities
• Experience in handling payroll implementation will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• Domain expertise in Payroll technology and solution
• Strong time management skills with attention to detail, laser focused approach on delivery of results.
• Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
• Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem solving skills.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) Intermediate level.
