Neeyamo is seeking a LATAM Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll operations across LATAM regions (excluding Mexico) from our Puebla office. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regional tax regulations, and coordination with financial entities to sustain efficiency and accuracy.

Formación

  • Experience with LATAM payroll (Excluding Mexico) is required.
  • 4–7 years of payroll experience, including accounting policies, tax calculation, SUA, SAT and IMSS processes.

Responsabilidades

  • Oversee payroll processing for LATAM regions (excluding Mexico).
  • Perform accounting functions, including income/expense tracking and financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external payroll vendors and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and regulatory filings for LATAM locales.
  • Provide customer service and address payroll-related inquiries.
  • Generate regulatory risk reports and support audits.

As a Senior Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing payroll operations across the LATAM region (excluding Mexico). You will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with regional tax regulations, and seamless coordination with financial and labor entities. Your expertise in payroll technology, accounting, and compliance will help drive efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Your role in a nutshell

As our Senior Product Specialist, you will oversee payroll processing, financial reconciliation, and compliance reporting. You will act as a subject matter expert in LATAM payroll regulations, manage external payroll vendors, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation, calculation, and supervision of payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with LATAM payroll regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Perform accounting functions, including income/expense tracking, provisions, and financial statements.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, supplier accruals, and validation of personal expense vouchers.
  • Manage payroll-related tax returns, including annual federal and deferred taxes.
  • Prepare and process customer invoices, vendor payments, and associated financial records.
  • Provide personalized customer service and address payroll-related queries.
  • Generate risk reports for IMSS, SAT, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Report payroll issues and changes to the Payroll Manager.
  • Manage external payroll vendors and ensure service-level compliance.
Experience and Skills
Expectations:
  • Minimum qualification:Graduate University/college degree
  • Languages: Fluency in English & Spanish
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in LATAM Payroll
Qualification and Skills:
  • Experience and Knowledge with LATAM payroll (Excluding Mexico) is a must.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience working with payroll, generation of accountingpolicies, tax calculation, and knowledge, working with SUA, invitations of SAT andIMSS, etc.
  • Experience in processing payrolls 200-300 HC.
  • Experience working with labor and financial entities
  • Experience in handling payroll implementation will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Domain expertise in Payroll technology and solutions
  • Strong time management skills with attention to detail, laser-focused approach ondeliveryof results.
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) Intermediate level.
