BIPO Mexico is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for multiple clients in Mexico, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.

You will process monthly, semimonthly and weekly payrolls, collaborate with client finance, legal and HR teams, review tax, social security contributions, and benefits, and drive improvements to automate operations.

Strong Excel skills and experience with local payroll systems are required, along with clear client communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mexico HR, Accounting, Business Admin, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations.
• Proven experience with local statutory benefits in Mexico.
• Strong knowledge of labor and tax regulations in Mexico.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process end-to-end payroll (monthly, semimonthly, weekly) for multiple clients in Mexico.
• Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and social security laws.
• Calculate taxes, benefits, savings funds in local payroll system.
• Collaborate with clients’ finance, legal, and HR to resolve issues and audits.
• Review and approve tax, social security contributions, and other components.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs; onboard and implement new clients or country operations.
• Identify process improvements to automate payroll operations.
• Stay updated with changes in labor and tax legislation.
• Use BIPO Platform for daily delivery and double-check payroll.
• Maintain client communication and service delivery.

Descripción del empleo

• Procced and operate the end-to-end payroll process (monthly, semimonthly , weekly) for multiple clients in Mexico
• Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and social security laws in Mexico
• Perform payroll calculations in BIPO’s local payroll system, including taxes, benefits, savings funds, etc.
• Collaborate with clients’ finance, legal, and HR departments to resolve issues, audits, and special requests.
• Review and approve calculations for taxes, social security contributions, savings funds, Coupon, PTU and other benefits, and other applicable components.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and performance indicators (KPIs) established with clients.
• Lead the onboarding and implementation of new clients or country operations.
• Identify and propose process improvements, aiming to automate and optimize payroll operations.
• Stay up to date with changes in labor and tax legislation
• Use BIPO Platform and Payroll Calculation System to do client daily delivery
• Keeping Client Daliy Communication and Client service delivery
• Use BIPO Platform and Payroll calculation system to double check and review payroll
• Communicate with employee and reply to the necessary questions which employee ask

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mexico Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations
• Proven experience managing payroll and local Statuary Benefits in Mexico
• Strong knowledge of labor and tax regulations in Mexico
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll systems (e.g., Meta4, SAP, ADP, Runa, Buk etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced English for face-to-face client communication (required for regional client communication).
• Looking for someone extremely organized, urgent, accountable, and able to multitask under pressure.
