Job summary

Takeda in Mexico City is seeking a Payroll and Timekeeping specialist to provide payroll delivery support for U.S. operations and the LATAM Payroll Specialist team.

You will review inputs, resolve discrepancies, ensure SOX controls and audits readiness, and drive process improvements with cross-functional partners. This role emphasizes hands-on support, data accuracy, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to maintain compliant payroll across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll and timekeeping processes.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audits.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• ERP/HRIS experience with UKG/Kronos and CWS.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach U.S. payroll and timekeeping colleagues and LATAM team on processes and solutions.
• Review payroll inputs and results, including changes, earnings, deductions, taxes and adjustments.
• Coordinate payroll and time-entry readiness against calendars and dependencies.
• Support SOX controls, audits and remediation with documentation and evidence.
• Provide SME input on UKG/Kronos and CWS configurations, testing and changes.
• Contribute to time-entry initiatives and projects aligning with policies and local requirements.
