Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a US & Canada portfolio, delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll with independence and precision.

You will handle complex earnings, deductions, taxes, and equity transactions, coordinate relocation reporting, and support cross‑functional partners in HR, Mobility, Equity, and Finance for international assignments and transfers, based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Senior payroll professional responsible for end-to-end payroll across an assigned portfolio with independence and complexity.
• Performs complex validations, reconciliations, and year-end support.
• Collaborates with Payroll COE, HR, Finance, Mobility, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll activities for an assigned portfolio.
• Validate complex earnings, deductions, taxes, statutory contributions, benefits, equity-related transactions, time data, and employee changes.
• Perform reconciliations, controls, corrections, off-cycle transactions, and year-end support with increased independence.
• Investigate complex issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and escalate material risks when appropriate.
• Serve as an operational contact for payroll providers and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure service quality.
