Synechron seeks an experienced Production Support / Service Management Consultant – Payments to bolster our GPS Technology function. You will triage incidents, coordinate recovery, and work with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and automate toil.

The role focuses on cross-border and cross-currency payments within corporate banking and will involve global virtual teams. You will drive incident response, perform root-cause analysis, develop runbooks, and participate in

Formación

• Proven experience in production support and service management within Corporate Banking.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• 6+ years in application development and/or production support.
• Experience with incident, problem, change, and release management and disaster recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to user queries related to system/service usage and regulatory requirements.
• Act as service recovery manager for incidents, coordinating resolver groups to restore services.
• Investigate incidents, diagnose issues, and drive corrective actions to resolve failures.
• Escalate critical incidents and provide regular updates on impact and recovery plans.
• Lead or participate in post-incident reviews and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
• Suggest improvements to monitoring, triage, and recovery processes to reduce times.
• Participate in change review activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Support change-related activities including role swaps, DR tests, patching, and evergreen.
