Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Sr. Engineer - Packaging to lead cost-out opportunities using VAVE methodologies and total cost analysis onsite at Nuevo Sur. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify and execute cost-reduction projects for packaging materials.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Packaging Engineering with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in VA/VE, CAD design, and familiarity with Windchill and SAP. Strong communication and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

2–4 years in cost reduction VA/VE projects.
Ability to drive engineering-based solutions to complex problems.
Experience with packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Identify cost-out opportunities using Pareto analysis and benchmarking.
Apply VAVE methods to uncover cost reduction opportunities.
Perform total cost/benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings.
Develop CAD prototypes and verify testing of alternative designs.
Create/update BOMs; submit ECNs and release revisions in Windchill and SAP.
Coordinate packaging changes with regulatory, processes, sustainability, and customer requirements.
Update internal packaging standards as needed.
