Eaton is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to receive, analyze, and process orders with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery. You will maintain ISO quality standards and communicate with customers via email while collaborating across departments.

The role requires at least one year of customer interaction experience, strong English skills, and familiarity with SAP or Vista. Bachelor’s degree is required, and the position involves on-site work in Querétaro, Mexico.

Responsabilidades

• Verify accuracy of customer, order and item information by reviewing quotes and POs.
• Maintain daily order schedule and report order progress to ensure timely processing.
• Handle order variances and special cases (product grouping, reserve items, consignments, credit card orders).
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve pricing and quoting issues.
• Enter shipment and notification requirements, apply correct sales credits, and follow entry checklists.
• Support process improvements and cross-training initiatives.

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Order Entry Specialist

What You’ll Do

Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities include receiving, analyzing, entering and processing incoming orders on a timely basis while maintaining customer service center and ISO quality standards. Orders generally received via email.

Job Responsibilities

• Verifies customer, order and item information for accuracy and completeness by reviewing the quote and purchase order and clarifying discrepancies as well as checking catalog numbers for accuracy.


• Performs regular daily order schedule maintenance functions such as customer sales order hold removal and sales order progress reporting. Knowledgeable in customer specific requirements as they apply to the order.


• Identifies, understands and processes appropriately the variances in orders to assure proper information is entered such as various product groupings, reserve production planned line items, consignment and credit card orders.


• Close communication with other departments to solve issues about pricing and quoting.


• Enter correct customer shipment and notification requirements. Applies proper sales credit and commission payment rates to orders. Reviews orders for completeness following order entry checklist. Participates in problem solving teams and special projects as directed by supervisor to improve processes. Assists and participates in cross-training for continuous improvement.


• Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

Qualifications

Education level required

• Bachelor degree necessary.

Years And Area Of Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year customer interaction/support experience

Technical Knowledge

• Experience with SAP and/or Vista


• Excellent understood and manage of computer packages, web pages and emails


• Ability to read, listen and write in English.
