Job summary

Viva, the leading ultra-low-cost airline in the Americas, seeks an HRBP to partner with Operations leaders and deliver People & Culture solutions that drive employee development and organizational effectiveness.

The role focuses on talent and development processes, performance management, and executive support while coordinating compensation decisions and working with COEs to meet operational needs. Strong communication and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years in Human Resources, people management, or HR Business Partner roles.
• Experience advising leaders and employees, preferably in operational environments.
• Knowledge of talent, performance, development, compensation, and HR policies.
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and processes simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on people management, identifying needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate talent, performance, development, culture, and employee experience initiatives.
• Manage talent and development processes, identifying capabilities and succession plans.
• Coordinate compensation decisions, ensuring internal equity and budgeting adherence.
• Collaborate with COEs to align solutions with operational needs.
• Analyze turnover, absenteeism, mobility, and employee experience metrics for action plans.
• Build trusted relationships and promote open communication with leaders and staff.
• Independently manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
